Cartoonist and caricaturist. later knighted in England in 1963. David Alexander Cecil Low (1891 -1963), New Zealand-born cartoonist/caricaturist, famous for drawing the Colonel Blimp character who was originally ridiculed for satirizing fascists and fascism as being an " alarmist ".
